Days 33-36

Saturday (33) Today I am grateful for previously cooked casseroles. I made a broccoli-corn casserole last night, and it was so nice today. I didn't have much time between checkouts, so when I had half an hour off, I was able to come home, reheat some casserole, and sit down to dinner. I didn't have to spend the whole half hour cooking and then hurriedly dish some up, dash off, and eat it in the car. It was awesome. =)

Sunday (34) Today I am so grateful for church and the ability I have to attend every week. I ended up having to do a few checkouts today, which really stunk, but I was able to attend Sacrament Meeting today and be spiritually fed. It totally made a difference in my day. I sang hymns while driving to/from checkouts, and even though I was working, I was able to feel the Spirit. It was great. I often take this blessing for granted and I'm glad that today I was able to have a little bit of a reality check.

Monday (35) Today I am grateful that I've only had one crazy tenant while checking out. I was a little annoyed because she basically wasted an hour of my time and I'm going to have to go back through and re-do the checkout, but someone pointed out that usually there's a few of those each year, and I've only had to deal with one. Hallelujah! I can't even put into words how thankful I am that it's only been one!

Tuesday (36) Today is the last day of all-day checkouts! I am doing 12 today (well, actually Jeremy is doing one of them so I can get off my feet for an hour in the middle of the day) and then I'm DONE! I might have 1-2 in the next few days, but I am over the hump! I'm going to make it through! I was getting pretty stressed out about things earlier, but for the most part things have gone pretty smoothly. I am looking forward to a big check! =)
